With both professional expertise and lived experience, I guide you through every step — from writing job ads, interviewing, and checking references to understanding vulnerable sector checks, certifications, and family considerations. I also provide support with setting up payroll, CRA registration, WSIB, scheduling, training, and managing staff expectations, while sharing strategies to maintain consistent care, plan for emergencies or vacations, and report properly for Direct Funding or Family-Managed Home Care. To make caregiving more affordable, I help you explore bursaries, grants, and funding opportunities, and when challenges arise, I offer guidance on conflict resolution, discipline, and staff transitions within employment standards and labour laws. My role isn’t to hire or manage caregivers on your behalf, but to equip you with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to create a safe, sustainable, and supportive care arrangement that works for your family.
